Marlon Palmer was born in Toronto, Ontario on August 5th, 1988. Growing up, he's always had an eye for media. Television legends like Will Smith and Jerry Seinfeld inspired Marlon to pursue an acting career. He was always the class clown and made sure that everyone around him were in constant laughter. As of late Marlon's aspirations of making it big have blossomed tremendously. In September of 2009 he entered the MuchMusic VJ Search and made it all the way to the finale. This jump started many opportunities and he was soon hosting gala's, talent shows and parties. Marlon aspires to move on to bigger and greater things and he is making sure to stay focused and set on his goal of one day becoming a famous and successful actor.

Born in Toronto, Ontario and raised all over the GTA, Laith Hakeem has had the drive for media since he was a child watching his favourite movies, television shows and listening in to his favourite radio stations. His love for Art, Drama and Media come hand in hand in regards to television and radio for his passion of the media arts work and lifestyle. In high school, Laith was always a part of the school plays and was a dedicated performer never losing his composure. He has always been a major roll and is never shy. He also applied for the Much Music VJ Search 2.0 in September of 2009 and beat over 4000 applicants making it into the Top 16, then the Top 8, and finally the Top 4. He helped out the VJs by co-hosting and interviewing many celebrities and musical artists. He is Currently Hosting High School Rush on Rogers TV as well as hosting various events and shows from time to time. He still pursues his dream of becoming an actor and television &/or Radio personality.

Since she first started putting on shows for her family at the early age of 3, Lindsay Hamilton knew that she wanted to be in the spotlight and hasn't looked back since. A current television personality on the Family Channel, Lindsay can often be seen interviewing tons of famous musicians, actors and dancers, and has conducted interviews with:The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Emily Osment, Bindi Irwin, Michael Seater, Ashley Leggat and more. Lindsay's experience includes co-host of Family Channel show Family First, lead in the film The Unforgotton, winner of YTV's The Adrenaline Project, voicework for kids show G2G, numerous commercials and theatre performances such as: Annie, Oliver, The Lion King, Peter Pan, Carassauga, and more. Lindsay also has a tremendous love for music and loves to sing, play her guitar and constantly write and record new music. Oh, and sometimes she will even still put on a show for her family!

Shamier Anderson is driven young performer Alumni of the Musical Theatre and Drama Focus program at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts. Since his completion of his OSSD in 2009 as an Ontario Scholar he has now gone on to do bigger and better things. Some of his accomplishments are he has co-founded a dance team called Projek Raw which is an urban/theatrical entertainment dance crew. He worked alongside Blake McGrath from So You Think You Can Dance Canada and David Clemmer from Style by Jury on a reality television show called Kidz for It Live. He has also worked on many musical productions such as Urinetown, Grease and Fiddler on the Roof, and The Music Man. Keep your eyes peeled because in 2010 you can catch Shamier in Disney’s Camp Rock 2 starring The Jonas Brothers and as a leading role on Family Channel’s new hit series Overruled starring Jacob Kraemer, Jasmine Richards Sally Taylor-Isherwood and Nick Spencer. Shamier hopes in the near future to become a world renowned performer.

DJ Danny Basta (Daniel Zelenjakovic) was Born in Bosnia, raised in Israel and finally arrived to Canada. One of the only things that remained constant throughout all of these changes is his love for music, "a thing that you can always hold on to no matter where you are". Daniel is fairly new in Canada and is a college student here in Toronto. "Music and Entertainment was something that I always loved, and being a part of the team here at ThaDotFM is nothing but pure fun to me and I enjoy every second of it!" As for the name, "The Basta Family is my band/crew/second family from Israel and one of my friends from there just glued Basta after my name and there you have Danny Basta".
